Version upgrade

The home edition is getting a version upgrade.
Preparations include covering up our furniture with plastic sheets. It's interesting to watch TV through a layer of plastic. Hah!

Let's take a look at the progress so far...
Day 1:
I wasn't around (thank goodness)! Hub was on UPA leave and this is the day when the workers invade our homes with their drilling and hacking. No more sitting on the floor around our living room coffee table for this is what our flooring looks like now.


The works extends to the master bedroom.

So from Day 1 till today, which is Day 5, our toilet facilities have been disrupted.
In place, we have a mobile, open-air, Japanese-size toilet which is sitting in the middle of our kitchen.
Cool eh?

Thank goodness my school allowed me to take 1 UPA and 3 half-days off. So on Day 5, which is today, I'll be ensuring that our windows (kitchen only) and toilet lourves are installed properly. So far, the frame's up.
